Tim Reardon - Conference Speaker

Tim Reardon has recently taken on the role of Executive Director Skills and Training with the Housing Industry Association. He was most recently the Executive Director of the HIA Tasmania and prior to this he was responsible for Federal Relations with the HIA based in Canberra.

Prior to joining the HIA Tim was Senior Adviser Industry Policy with the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where he represented the interest of Australian business on issues including industry policy, small business, regulation, electronic commerce, telecommunications, and corporate social responsibility.

HIA YouthBuild Foundation is an industry run program which aims to attract more entrants into the Building and Construction industry. The Foundation partners include the major builders and suppliers within the industry. Projects undertaken have aimed to improve resources within schools, ensure that trades training is available to students and enabling practical skills attainment in relevant courses.

Tim has a background in Economics and he has a Masters in Management (Industry Policy) from the Australian National University.
