John Quick - Conference Speaker

John joined the Australian Industry Group, one of the nation’s foremost employer associations and key contributor to the education and training debate, as an Education and Training Adviser in 2004. John’s role within Ai Group is to provide day to day support to industry through the provision of education and training advice.

In addition to supporting Ai Group members he also acts as a conduit between government departments and industry and provides input into the formulation of industry policy in the area of vocational education and training.

John brings greater than 20 years experience in vocational education and training to his present role, and prior to his appointment he was the executive officer of the NSW state manufacturing and engineering ITAB and before that was the chief executive officer of a private RTO.

He has also worked as a trainer, consultant and in the marketing and promotion of VET to the manufacturing and resource industries.
