Berwyn Clayton - Conference Speaker

Berwyn is the Director of the Centre Undertaking Research in Vocational Education at the Canberra Institute of Technology.

She has been actively involved in education in some way for more than 40 years. With a strong focus on enhancing teaching and learning, she is the author or co-author of over thirty publications in areas such as of competency-based assessment, evaluation, professional development, teaching and learning and educational quality assurance.

Berwyn’s knowledge of the critical issues impacting on VET organisations and VET practitioners is acknowledged nationally and she is regularly called upon to serve on key working parties and committees across the sector.

In her professional capacity, Berwyn is the Immediate Past President of the Australian Vocational Education and Training Research Association and in 2001 was made a Fellow of the Australian College of Educators for her outstanding contribution to education.
