Papers - Preparation Guidelines

Papers should be prepared using the following guidelines. When complete send your paper to the Conference Secretariat. Extended deadline - 17 July 2006.

Online Paper Management

This year we are using a web-based paper management system to help manage the many abstracts and papers submitted. This system will be the ONLY way papers may be submitted, and speaker information collected, for AUSTAFE 2006.

The system is provided by a group called Oxford Abstracts. Essentially, all you have to do is REGISTER your email address and password with the system, then submit your abstract or paper, or revise those already submitted.

ABSTRACT submission is now open. This process will close on 17th July, after which the Program Committee will choose those to be presented this year. If your paper is not accepted as an oral presentation, you maybe invited to present a poster instead.

Once your final paper has been accepted, you will be able to modify or improve it, and also adjust the ABSTRACT to reflect any changes, up until the final date of 31st August 2006, after which we will prepare the printed Abstracts Book. You will also need to submit your final, full papers and powerpoint presentations, no later than 31st August.

This system means that you are in control of your own destiny! We do not have to take responsibility for any change control of your abstract or final paper – you do!

Once an abstract has been submitted it is allocated a Reference Number - this should be used whenever you update your abstract or paper.

You must use the WORD TEMPLATE provided by Oxford Abstracts when you load your abstract. However, when loading your final paper, it should be a WORD document, using the PAPER GUIDELINES available on this website. Load a single spaced paper with all the details of authors names and affiliations.
