This conference seeks to explore partnerships between the Vocational and Technical Education (VTE) sector and schools, community, industry, government and higher education.

• What are the major challenges facing VTE when partnering with industry or community groups?
• How responsive can the VTE sector be to ongoing changes in the workplace?
• What skills do VTE staff need to work effectively with industry and the community?
• Is the VTE sector responsive enough for industry?

Theme 3: International partnerships – are they worth it?

• What are the challenges facing the VTE sector when forming international partnerships?
• How important are international partnerships in VTE?
